A Night of Miracles Update

As a past supporter of our A Night of Miracles gala, we wanted to share with you an update on what’s next.
For 13 years A Night of Miracles, a South Asian Community Initiative brought to life by founding chair Robin Dhir, has brought together philanthropic and corporate leaders to support the world-leading work of BC Children’s Hospital. During this time, the gala united countless supporters with a shared vision and together, raised over $7M to support advancements in pediatric care—including the Teck Acute Care Centre Special Procedures Suite, the Children’s Healing Experience Project, and the Diabetes Transformation Project.

As we set our sights on the aspirations ahead and reflect on how we most meaningfully engage with our supporters, we are taking a break from the A Night of Miracles gala over the next few years. This will enable us to explore different ways to connect with our community of supporters that build upon the connections that A Night of Miracles has established.

We share our deepest gratitude to you—our incredible community of passionate and generous supporters, including our co-presenting sponsors in FASKEN, RBC, and most recently Rogers, our volunteers, and our dedicated guests. You’ve shown what’s possible when we rally together around a shared dream.

We are especially grateful to our founding chair, Robin Dhir, for his vision and passion, along with past chairs Manjot Hallen, Seema Lal, Bob Rai, Danvir Roopra, vice chair Vik Khanna and each of the members of our A Night of Miracles Cabinet who devoted countless hours and energy to the creation of exceptional experiences for our guests and donors.
We look forward to continuing to work together on our quest to transform children’s health in British Columbia and beyond.
