Canada’s six major financial institutions are dedicated to helping BC Children’s Hospital provide excellent care to kids across the province. Volunteers from BC’s leading financial institutions established the Banks Committee and BC banks have been paving the way ever since, collectively raising more than $25 million for BC’s kids. In addition to raising money by selling plush animals, chocolates, and Jeans Day buttons and pins, they also raise annual funds to support for their Slo-Pitch teams, which compete in the Go to Bat for BC Children's Hospital Slo-Pitch tournament.

This year's Chair of the Banks Committee is Dale Telfer, Assistant Vice President, HSBC Bank Canada. Collectively, for the first time, the banks were able to surpass their $2 million benchmark and contribute a significant portion of the overall Miracle Weekend total of $15,607,607.
