At BC Children’s Hospital Foundation we’re committed to making big things happen and are fortunate to receive outstanding support from organizations much like yours.
Volunteers from some of BC’s leading technology, telecommunications and biotech companies established the Technology Committee in 1991 and to date this sector has raised more than $3.5 million for BC Children’s Hospital.
This year's Technology Committee is chaired by Suzanne Trusdale of TELUS and Vice-Chair, Wendy Ridley of D-Wave Systems Inc.
As a fellow industry partner, we recognize that business responsibilities take precedence. We also recognize the need for business to give back to the community in a tangible way.
- Suzanne Trusdale, TELUS
Technology Committee members donate both their time and money to a number of events and special fundraising projects annually – such as Jeans Day™, Slo-Pitch, Childrun, Employee Giving, Corporate Giving, and the 2nd annual division initiative, "Keeping Kids in the Game" online and corporate events. The online fundraising initiativewill begin in November and run through to December 2009. Great prizes and incentives are available for individuals and leagues.

”When I toured through Children’s Hospital, it really drove home to me the special needs of children, and the vital role this facility plays in all of our lives.”
