welcome to your
innovators hub
Innovators are natural leaders, motivated by challenges and always looking for opportunities to learn, grow and beat the odds. Your journey starts here.
As one of the top ten children’s hospitals in the world, BC Children’s is home to world leaders in pediatric health. You will go behind the scenes, hearing directly from the best and brightest medical and scientific minds and work as a collective to decide where funds are best directed. These projects are led by motivated, passionate people, like yourself, ready to take action and show the world that small can be mighty.
Area of funding
Each year, Innovators vote to support projects, through the BC Children’s Hospital Digital Lab, that bridge health care and technology to improve lives and innovate care. These projects tackle real-world health care challenges and create transformative solutions that improve diagnosis, treatment, and overall care for children across BC and the Yukon.
In year one of the Innovators program, members collectively raised $65,000 and voted to support a project that leverages artificial intelligence for diagnosis.
